Drifting: FPDA R4, Heinjoki, Kuopio 16.7.2011

Finnish Pro Drifters Association Round 4 on Heinjoki, Kuopio, on brand new asphalt-rallycross-track. Sorry of the shaking, forgot my tripod (next time i will take it). Filmed with EOS 5D Mark II+EF 70-200 L IS USM II+Rode Videomic Pro. Audio Auto Gain Control on, f/32, ISO 200-320, Shutter speed 1/40-1/80 s. Focus kept in the middle of the S-curve on foreground. Image stabilizer on, at mode 2.

Nissan 200SX:es were very common in this event, with or without engine swap. 2JZ-GTE sounds very nice, especially when turbo's boost kicks in. The Cresta, 200SX with 4G63T swap and IS200 were my personal favourites.

I wasn't there, but I can almost smell the smoke now. Well done, Kyosuke1989.

Realizing squeal and smoke might go missing and the drifting and driving skills would be vastly adjusted, I would like to see something like this on ice, preferably a frozen lake. Looking down, of course, from a hill.

No asphalt, all ice.

I was there too and my fave was the Supra and the Lexus. It just was bad that it started raining. So no smoke or sound from the tires and lower speed :/
