  • hmm... probably find a weight that you can only do around 8-12 reps on. Do around 3 sets each exercise. But if these two exercises are your only shoulder workout then try go for more sets, like up to 6, just lower weight when needed to get those 8-12 reps. Also I would say to bend the elbows slightly, as opposed to completely straight, to target only deltoids, leaving the stress free of the joints, and traps. But he's the certified personal trainer.
