01 Technology Pilots - Summit 2010 Panel - John Sebes, Open Source Digital Voting Foundation

The term, Technology Pilots trips wildly different switches in the minds of various overseas and military voting stakeholders, including those who will be present at Summit 2010. The recently passed MOVE Act requires the execution of pilots to test new methods for US service member voting.  For some, it seems like the logical step forward, a natural evolution of a concept; for others pilots are a step onto a slippery slope and best to avoid at all costs. This panel will tell you why these opposing views co-exist and continue to confuse the best  and the brightest.
