Set in 1935, a professor, archaeologist, and legendary hero by the name of Indiana Jones is back in action in his newest adventure. But this time he teams up with a night club singer named Wilhelmina "Willie" Scott and a twelve-year-old boy named Short Round. They end up in an Indian small distressed village, where the people believe that evil spirits have taken all their children away after a sacred precious stone was stolen! They also discovered the great mysterious terror surrounding a booby-trapped temple known as the Temple of Doom! Thuggee is beginning to attempt to rise once more, believing that with the power of all five Sankara stones they can rule the world! Now, it's all up to Indiana to put an end to the Thuggee campaign, rescue the lost children, win the girl and conquer the Temple of Doom.

Though not mine, it is fantastic. Of all the movies (all 3 of them) this one captures the spirit of the 30's and 40's serials the best.

well you are naive. i'm not indian like @bnaveenk16 but i understand why he'd be offended in the slightest. i'm sure some parts of the movie are culturally incorrect. like that part with them eating monkey brains...that makes some people believe they actually eat that in India. some people who havent travelled the world believe everything movies/tv say about other places. i know i'm rambling now lol but ya i understand where dude is coming from.

The best adventure movie ever. I'm still watching it in 2013. Its funny, intense, and lots of action. Its the inspiration of Tomb Raider and Uncharted, which also the best adventure games today. All hail Indiana Jones!

This film knew how to be as bad-ass as possible! Short Round was most likely the most bad-ass kid around in 1984!

Indiana Jones as a character kicks the most ass in this film, ROTLA is better, but this is my favorite just because after this the character became part of a family adventure, not a james bond like hero
