Damien Echols Interviewed on Court TV - Primetime Justice 1996

Damien Echols, convicted along with two other teenage boys of the 1993 murders of three eight-year-old West Memphis, Arkansas second graders, is interviewed on the Court TV Program Primetime Justice in 1996. Echols was sentenced to death in 1994 and has maintained his innocence since. Opinions on Echols guilt vary greatly and it remains a highly debated issue.

@whydontyoushootme they pled guilty because it was an Alford plea u dumbshit...the state offered it to them because of the fact that if it had went back to trial they would have beat the charges....the plea is designed for the state to maintain that even tho the individual/s were innocent the state had sufficient, not enough to convict, but sufficient evidence to try them, thus saving the state from any legal action against them after this fiasco was over

NUMBER ONE YOUR WRONG BECAUSE IT WAS CHRISTOPHER BYERS WHO WAS MUTILATED AND HAD HIS TESTICLES CUT, AND SECOND JASONS AND DAMIENS ALIBIS WERE THAT THEY WERE IN SCHOOL TILL 3 AND WERE AT HOME ALL NIGHT AND WERE GIVEN A CHANCE TO FOLLOW UP ON THAT. THREE JESSIES WAS LATER PROVED TO BE AT A WRESTLING MATCH. HIS IQ WAS LOW AND HE JUST WANTED TO GO HOME SO HE "CONFESSED".. FOR 18 YEARS THEY NEVER CHANGED THEIR STORY AND ALWAYS CLAIMED INNOCENCE.. Guilty. I don't see, if you read the books and saw the movies (which was edited to make them seem very innocent) that you don't feel in your gut that they killed those kids. Echols was a very violent teenager, and suicidal.
