Hi, Many thanks for taking the time to view the Formula Fun Racing video and post your comments. The layout is not available in a set but is made up of many track pieces which are sold individually.

can't help noticing that a large section of the track has more than two lanes. i don't have scalextric digital, nor have i seen it in the flesh, so to speak, so perhaps you could tell me how the setup works.

is it to increase the track capacity above six cars (if that's possible)? or just an elaborate pit scheme?

Hi, Many thanks for yor comments. The system is Digital and can operate any where from 1 or more lanes. Several lanes enable up to six cars to overtake each other on the layout, whilst single lanes are typically utilized for chicanes and pitstops. The pitstop is fully functional and allows cars to pit and refuel when needed during a race.

so, you can't have more than six cars for the system even if you add more lanes? i assume then you've just added as many passing places as possible.

That is correct. Six cars is the maximum you can run at one time. The various lanes enable more overtaking and offer different racing lanes to provide drivers with opportunities to reduce their lap times

@SlotraceDK I noticed that too. I don't run digital, I have an SCX car but now run 1/24 at commercial tracks and those suckers fly

Each time she runs off the track, she collects her car and sit it down on the track AFTER the finishline!!!

Hi, thanks for the comment, I had a longer video showing more of the layout which I captured, but there is an error on the vidoe file and I can't transfer it to my computer. I will try to get someone to look at it. It is a littler difficult to capture all of the layout in a frame due to the size. Thanks for watching, I will upload more videos as I get them. Deal A Party
