Wouldn't it be a tenosynovitis rather than a tendonitis since there is a synovial sheath at that position...and also since proper tendonitis doesn't really exist according to research in the last few years.

yes I think the examiner should resist the patient's active supination movement

The examiner should tell the pt. to not let their arm move while the examiner tries to pull the pt. into supination and external rotation.
That is how we learned it from the Rehab Specialist Handbook.

is it rotator cuff work and stretching of the biceps tendon?
