I usually just let 'em be. They like a song, they're part of a fandom.. They have every right to post that this song reminds them of a certain character or show and we can't really do much about it, but we CAN tolerate and perhaps, possibly, get along with them. Tolerance is how I've gotten by for quite a while, that and self control.

Oh I know how it could be used for torture purposes! It's like in A Clockwork Orange he sang the song Singin' in the Rain while raping a woman, so now that song is associated with bad memories and torture for that girl, I suppose. And I guess many songs do get popular for different fandoms, it's just annoying when they are fandoms like Homestuck that already take over the internet anyways, and it seems hardly fair that they won't let us be to enjoy one thing for ourselves.

Is there really a way to use music in a wrong or right way? Unless its for torture purposes I really don't see a problem.. I know how you feel though. The Prodigy's "Breathe" got really popular after the new Fast and Furious came out and all the top comments were about it.

Oy that's really annoying how songs just get popular from fandoms. Unless, of course, it is already a band fandom (I am a guilty Kellic shipper). But, I suppose it's refreshing to know that fandoms are being exposed to good music, even if they are using it in the wrong way.

Eridan and Sollux are from Homestuck... just.. yeah. They like those two characters together and think this song goes with there uncanon, or, unofficial relationship. Also, the song was probably in a homestuck video of some kind.. Songs get popular that way.

I think I found this somehow through a Blood on the Dance Floor song. I suppose a lot of people hate that band, but even haters have to admit it's better than all this fandom talk that's going around, right? Because if I have to hear about Homestuck one more time I'm going to scream. How is this song even in Homestuck????
