Are you sure that's the AC compressor making that ringing noise? Mine makes the same noise but everyone of whom I've had listen to it said its more than likely the timing belt.

I would really appreciate a reply as I am trying to figure out what exactly is making that horrible noise.thank you

Yes, it is, the Clutch bearing failed. Pick up a bypass belt and skip the AC. volla its gone.

Or a new AC Compressor.

Yes. It was the AC Compressor. I fixed mine after this video.

What the Bags? The front setup are Easystreet Bagstruts with Overkill mounts (I was the designer and Prototype maker) The rear is a custom 2 link. The car is FOR SALE now, with 19"s and a bit more done for $4500 if your intrested. Im Located in MO

@wachman its the water pump making that noise, and alot of the time if you turn your ac off aswell as your vents it usually kicks off,

@xxtazchazzxx i don't know wats up with cavaliers and the ac compressors,mine did the same thing and a buddy of mine has a cavalier and his is messed up to same thing.

those are suspension air bags right... sorry for the stupid question but im not sure what an air ride is.im getting some too it would be nice for a reply

sick ride hope mine turns out that on the air ride did u have to do alot of cutting
