@tedudeskin the crusaders would do fine against a northern team, aswell as the blues
-
aren't Aus, NZ and SA considered the three best rugby teams in the world today?
-
@88wallabies looks like your wrong about the tri-nations.
-
@tedudeskin Well for one thing, the travel. It's a lot further to go from SA to AUS and back then to go from Eng to France. Then there is the overall stantard of rugby - which in my opionin - is is higher than that of the North.
-
@hawkeyecf yeah id like to see a competition between the hemispheres too.
Dont know what you mean by tougher and more difficult.
-
@tedudeskin Hahaha. i'd like to see "the north" take on a competition like the Super 14, it's a lot toucher and more difficult.
-
@buckwheatza yeah thats true actually.Thought they would have been better than that, given how they were this season
-
i always thought the big bad bulls where unstoppable they basicaly crushed every team this year.
if theres any team that can stop them it has to be the stormers
btw south hemisphere teams would dominate the northern ones :D
The Reds went on a northern hemisphere tour last season and they were well beaten by Ulster who are average and hammered by Leinster. Theyre the only results I know. Super 14 teams wouldnt cope with the defence in the north. So that leaves the north to score tries on bad defending

@tedudeskin Bro you gotta keep in mind tho that the Reds haven't had a good performance record in the super 14 until this season when they morphed into complete and utter giant slayers. Last season the Reds finished second last on the log.. check it out for yourself:

So its possible they weren't the best yard stick by which to measure Super rugby...
