Steve's story: How I became a leadership storyteller

As a left-brained analytic person, Steve Denning didn't naturally gravitate to storytelling. It happened because it was the only thing that worked. When he was trying to persuade a big change-resistant organization to adopt a bold new strategy, none of the left-brained methods worked. It was a story that did the trick. Steve went on to share what he had learned in a series of books and workshops about leadership storytelling. In this video, he tells how he stumbled on the power of storytelling, almost by accident.
