Aug. 8, 2007 - After speaking with Chief, Marita Paul, of the Sechelt Indian Band, BC Canada: Robert Joe, Rights and Title Co-ordinator, and Willy Joe, speak against logging in the Chapman Creek Community Watershed. Anthony Paul: carver for the Sechelt Nation shows and explains the 20 foot totem pole carved to commemorate the agreement between the Sunshine Coast Regonal District and the Band to ensure the Protection of the Watershed.
Isn't it amazing how people want to destroy our natural resources for money, we've been to Chapman Falls, tasted the water....it's not worth it to destroy a fresh water source like this....we need it to live...If it wasn't for the activity of the Sechelt First Nation this could be gone forever....

sammy that comment just goes to show how much of a ignorant, trash talking coward you are, it sure is easy to be a keyboard thug and make insults behind your hewlett-packard, i dare you to voice your "profound" opinions to an actual first nations person and be prepared to spend the next 5 minutes picking your teeth up off the ground
