My First Love - A Jemi Story Episode 4 (Joe's Dream)

Joes P.O.V
When Demis eyes hit mine her intake of breath could have taken in the whole room. She dropped her coffee onto the floor and I watched it fall as in slow motion. The hand which held coffee went straight over her mouth. I didnt know what to do. I couldnt do anything. I just started into her eyes with not so much as a smiled but a desperate glimpse. I had no idea how she was feeling. Well except for shocked. Was she happy to see me? Or disappointed?
Demi: Joe?
Joe: *Nods, not stepping any closer. Sighs out.* Demi.
Demi: *Pushes her self off the desk and slowly walks over to him.* What are you doing here?
Joe: *Looks down.* I work here.
Demi: *Lifts up his chin. Studying his face.* I.. I cant believe its you.
Joe: *Looking into her eyes.* I never thought Id see you again.
Demi: *Feels like shes going to cry. Moves her hand and looks down.* I um I have paper work. *Pushes past him and out of his office.*
Joe: *Slowly closes the door. Leans against the wall and slides down it.

Demis P.O.V
I fast walked into my office and closed the door, bursting into tears the second I heard the click. Joe? Here? Why doesnt someone just shoot me. I cant act professional with him here. I thought he would have moved by now. Of course I wanted to see him but he wouldnt want to see me. Not after what I did to him. He looked just as shocked as me. The memories hit me like a tsunami wave. We had so much fun together. No, no I cant think like that. My parents are expecting so much from me. Im a business women now and I have to act like one. What happened between me and Joe happened a long time ago. What ever happens here is strictly business and I have to remember that. I walked over to the mirror above the fireplace in my office and fixed my eye make up. Paper work, just focus. I walked over and sat at my desk, and did my work.

Joe: *Laying his head on his paper work. Cant stop thinking. Falls asleep.*

Joes P.O.V in his dream
The time was 7:49pm. I put the rest of my paper work into my brief case and closed it. I went to reach for my coat when the door sung open. It was Chelsea. She handed me a slip of paper and walked out. I looked at it. Meet me in my office -Demi it read with a kiss mark made by dark red lipstick on the side. I slipped the note into my pocket and walked out the door. All the lights were off in the hall ways except for occasional desk light from late night secretary workers. I walked all the way down the hallway and up to Demis office door that was slightly opened. I pushed it the rest of the way and walked inside, closing it behind me. The only light in the room was coming from the fire place. I looked up and saw Demi sitting on the corner of her desk in fishnet leggings, a black business skirt, and a button down stripped purple shirt. Her legs were gorgeous, I slowly looked up to her face. She was smiling and holding two wine glasses in one hand and a bottle of champagne in the other. "Joseph" she exclaimed. "How nice to see you." She stood up, not bothering to pat her ruffled skirt down and walked over to me. She ran her tipped index finger from the top of my shirt, down, unbuttoning the buttons along the way. Than, pushing her hands up my chest, she wrapped her arms around my neck, bring her lips close to mine. "Its been to long." she whispered against my lips and kissed me. I put my hands on her waist and slowly walked her back to her desk. She reached back and pushed all of the paper work onto the floor. I picked her up, not breaking the kiss and put her on her desk. She pulled on my shirt pulling me in as far as I could until I climbed on top of her, on to the desk. The lamp fell onto the floor, the light bulb shattering into a million pieces. I started to put my hand up her shirt and..

Demi: *Walks into his office.* Erm, Joe?
Joe: *Wakes up fast, sitting up.* Huh?
Demi: *Giggles and touches the side of her mouth.* You were, drooling.
Joe: *Wipes the side of his face, embarrassed.* Oh uh, I guess I feel asleep.
Demi: *Looks down.* Yea. *Pauses.* Um, how about we go out to eat later, to catch up?
Joe: Um, yeah. Id like that.
Demi: *Smiles.* Okay, Ill um see ya at 8.*Walks out.*
Joe: *Smiles.*
