The foam roller is a wonderful tool that allows you to lengthen out your fascia and muscles. It works by providing myofascial release through a rolling massage along the tissue. Nicole demonstrates using the foam roller for the mid to lower back and the lattisimus dorsi. Foam rolling can work best when the muscles are warm, but you can use it anytime as a way to assist with muscle recovery, rejuvenation, postural correction, and stress relief. Spend 1-2 minutes on each body part if possible every day.
