The BD remote app is free on the App Store and is available already. All 2010 Sony Blu-ray players can use this remote and the player can look up cover, art & descriptions for your content. It can play pictures, music and video from disc, USB, internet (watch YouTube and other internet video directly). It will play SACD, DivxHD and Blu-ray Discs. It's a real anything player that also has amazing speed and responsiveness.

I have this model of bluray player and the mediaremote app

it seems that mediaremote went the way of horrible "updates" that involve advertising and well, not working.

When I try to use the remote it doesn't work and the bluray player itself tells me to go to settings and press the registration button but the closest thing to that is a list of remotes to choose from. Neither of mine are on the list and all my sony products tend to be universal with their own remotes, so why bother?

BD remote = really great! Having to look a f ing obama BS while I use it = SUCKS! Why are you forcing that shit down people's throats, I may return my Blu-Ray player because of this crap. ALL politicians are CROOKS, obama is no better than bush or vice versa, WAKE UP PEOPLE!
