The next morning, I woke up pretty early. Im usually and early riser anyway. Everyone was still sleeping, including mum and dad. So I had to be really quiet when I walked to the bathroom. My bathroom is across from my room. As I walked to my bathroom, I tried to be very quiet while I turned the tap on. As I finished, I opened the door and to my surprise Joe was waiting outside.
"You're up early" I said.
"yea I couldnt sleep"
"time difference?"
"no, I wanna play Monopoly"
With that I laughed and let him use the bathroom.
I crept into my room where my parents were still sleeping. I needed to get my clothes so I can go for my shower. I silently opened my closet and took out some tracksuits and a sweatshirt, seeing that I wasnt exactly goin out anywhere anyway. Joe was still in the bathroom so decided to wait for him. After a couple of minutes he came out of the bathroom.
"oh sorry, were you waiting long?"
He is so cute when he's concerned.
"nah, I just got here"
he smiled and I walked into the bathroom. I took my shower and made sure that I didnt sing, because the wall between my bathroom and the study room, isn't all that sound proof, and I wouldn't want to wake them up with my screeching.
After my shower, I went downstairs. Joe was fumbling around in the kitchen looking for....actually, I dont know what he was looking for.
"um, Joe? what are you doing?"
"oh sam, what do you want for breakfast?" he asked, while still looking for something. (he remembered my name!!)
"uh.....cereal"
I walked to the pantry and took out the cocoa pops.
"want some?" I asked Joe.
"no thanks, I'm gonna make some eggs, would your mum and dad want some?"
"yea but dont make one for Steph. She hates eggs......like me"
Joe smiled and took out two more eggs from the fridge. He was still looking for something.
"Um Sam?"
"yup?"
"Where do you keep the spoons?"
"Oh"
I walked over to the drawer and pulled out a spoon.
"thank you"
he looked so gorgeous when hes frying eggs. I gave him a couple of plates, as he didnt know where they were either. A little later, dad came downstairs. He walked over to Joe and gave him a pat on the back.
"thanks for the eggs" he said.
"your welcome"
then dad went into the bathroom. I decided to make some coffee for everyone while Joe finished frying the last egg.
"want coffee?"
"yes please. Oh and can you....never mind"
"what?"
"nah dont worry I'll do it"
"what?"
"no its ok"
"tell me!"
"ok...um can you make one for Kevin And Nick?"
"yeah sure"
"thanks"
While I was making the coffee, Kevin came down.
"ah breakfast" he said, while taking his egg and coffee.
After about two hours everyone but Nick was awake. It was nearly 12 and someone had to go and wake him up.
"Um, would someone like to go and get Nick?" I asked, hoping that either Joe or Kevin will wake him up.
"ok one second" Kevin responded.
He and Joe were glued to the T.V, they were watching "border security", and really enjoying it.
Joe finally spoke up.
"Hey Sam you can go and wake him."
"really?" I asked delighted.
"yea but hes pretty hard to wake up, just so you know."
I was really excited. What should I do, I thought, pour water? Nah that will get the bed wet, make noise? Nah.
I walked upstairs and opened the study room door. I was a little surprised at what I saw.
