I love the Bangles even more as modettes! :-)

LOve Debbi's look! Looks like Goldie Hawn ala Laugh-In, behind the kit.

It's really cool that crashsite000 posted this video! I've never seen it before, and I love the Bangles music in every stage of their career....good stuff, all of it.

@CatchyJ Annette was never part of the plan just played as a bridge to other projects she had lined up with her boyfriend, Meanwhile Michael was living with Vicki shortly after the ep was cut. Michaels experience pretty much gave the Bangles the final push. I met Micki and she didn't seem like a drag queen to me. Micki started the Runaways but was pushed out by someone who wanted to take the band in another direction.

Annette is so cute! Bass like a toilet lid is also pretty damn good!

Screw you CatchyJ!!! Michael Steele was an extremely talented bassist and still is. Annette Zilinskas was a fine bass player as well. Those women could all be wearing burlap sacks and still look smoking hot! Get a clue you douchebag!

Ha, sadly I was a lot older than eight then! Don't remind me that I'm gettin' old...lol
I think the Rain Parade was the opening band when I saw them. Not 100% sure -- I saw so many concerts back then that they become a blur. I saw the Bangles with the Three O' Clock (and two other forgotten bands) at the now-defunct Pomona Valley Auditorium (PVA) back in '84. I just remember dozens of Vespa scooters lined up in the parking lot, driven by mods. Good times, good times.
