  • It's an Ostrom Pack - Wabakimi - fantastic product that will last you your life time of paddling (a tad expensive but the best of the market).

  • What is that giant yellow and black bag? Id really like to get one of those for my next camping trip

  • Many years of canoe camping, and I'm one of those garbage bag liner peeps lol.. I use 3 heavy weight bags all rolled up seperately inside each other. Packs float and stay dry. But It's all in how you close them up and trap air and a not letting them get snagged on gear. Enjoy your vids though. Lots of good info to be learned here.

  • you forgot about how you put all the heavy/ bulky sharp pokey things in your partners pack, and all the good stuff in yours. this video also clears up what happened to all my clean socks over the years....... scott steals em......

  • nice vid again! I've developed a similar modular system for kayaking also...i guess its pretty much the same for canoe...except the added space. is there a canoe pack you particularly prefer? I see from your canoe that you must be a northerner like myself so Canadian products are easy to come by....

  • Nice vid. For kayak packing, I guess you can skip the big bag, as hatches do the work. I still pack everything in drybags. For portages, a pack helps in remote areas, but I use a cart in areas with trails.

  • Kevin, you are becoming a prof in making videos.

I like the idea of separating the tarp and the tent, specially in rainy season :)
