@DJeshan100 It's an invasive species, so being removing this snake it helps keep the Everglades environment healthy. It truly doesn't belong

Human stamina is pathetic for a mammal, but humans can still easily outlast a cold blooded animal in a fight. Try human vs dog, dog always wins unless human has a weapon or overpowers the dog in a hold. Humans are an ambush predator, so we often hold a distinct power advantage against cold blooded animals and against non-ambush predators. Of course there are non-predators like the horse, cow, ox, gorilla and elephant that are way stronger than ourselves. But they are not predators.

@BBoyr4dic4l Removing pythons is a common procedure for many wildlife officials here in South Florida. Most capture phytons will be killed and dissected to study their stomach content and analyze their feeding behavior.

what are the odds that the python population will make its way northward into southeastern woodland? or do they need swamps? i was under the impression that they came from asia where they live in woodland / jungle, not swamps.
DieTheDeath 1 month ago
@DieTheDeath Thees Burmese Pythons came from South East Asia. The weather plays a crucial factor in how for North the population will spread. Thanks for watching.
