ron paul isnt for the "fair tax" . It was a good move by "fair tax" people to take that name. Its totally bogus, there is nothing fair with having to pay 20,000 sale tax if you need cancer surgey costing 90K.

Fairtax tomorrow? What if tomorrow, you figured out nursing homes would be charged sales tax? What if tomorrow, renters found out they had to pay a huge sales tax - on rent!? What if tomorrow, you ruined the new house market, by making new homes pay a high sales tax? What if tomorrow, cancer patients would have to pay high taxes on chemo therapy and surgery? I really don't get this "Jimmy Carter" thing... Huckabee is absolutely nothing like Carter. For one thing, he wouldn't sell Israel out, and for another, he has better comic timing and way more guts (and has lost them... have you run a marathon and lost that much weight?)

Huckabee is a good man and his skills as a pastor make him good on the stump. But when times get tough, he gets weak and soft, such as when he begged for higher taxes, and couldn't say "no" to any criminal who wanted off the hook.

1 pardon for criminals every 4 days over ten years. He's basically Jimmy Carter all over again.
