The Winter Solstice is the day with the least amount of daylight hours (for the Northern Hemisphere). This time of the year has been revered in most cultures and religions as a "Festival of Lights": Hannuka, Christmas, Kwaanza, and Candlemas, to name a few. When we "shine" our lights at this time of year, we exhibit that we have power of control over our own lives, to do as we wish with the "cards" of fate that the Universe deals to us. We cannot control exterior random factors, but we CAN control how we react to them.... which makes all of the difference in the "world" and in our lives. In every idea or substance, there is contained within it the seed of it's opposite: hence the yin/yang symbol. And indeed, this Solstice- the "darkest" day of the year - is the forerunner of the days becoming "longer" = more filled with light hours. Please enjoy this video, and if desired, light your own candle or shine your aura in a special way to realise your control over the elements. And, this is thee day to plant "mental seeds" through meditation and purposeful thinking, through 'creative visualization' for your 'harvest' on the Summer solstice = June 21. Remember: "You are what you think you are". Peace and Love to all in this time of soul- searching: 'death' and 'rebirth' of the physical earthly cycle. Kandace :-)
