Great video Chris! I love the part with the minicamera. I was wondering if 70# count as warbow weight because I'm only 13 and I shoot a 65# English longbow but I'm hoping to move up to 70# next year.

@thomasthearcher1415
thanks, just a bit of fun !(it was all with the minicamera not just the arrow shot, and you can't see what your doing until after you plug it in the PC ! lol).
As for shooting, well the biggest mistake in shooting these bows is to want to go up in weight to soon, don't get obsessed by draw weight, that is the biggest and most common error with these bows, and should never be the motivation for shooting them. Don't forget they originally trained from a very young age...

...65lb is a very respectable draw weight for your age, a few years or so shooting regularly and mastering that will set you up much better in the long run believe me.
Many end up with injuries by not being patient enough and becoming obsessed by the draw weight and in some cases end up never being able to shoot again ! Being able to draw a big medieval bow in itself does not make a good archer does it ? ! but master it,shoot well,know the true history and culture is entirely something else !

Well done Chris. Nice shots of the arrows all stood in the ground too. Best wishes. Nick B.

@bigbowbrum it was just a try out one afternoon just to see what i could do with just using the mini £8 camera, the basic windows video editing program, and some background music i just improvised using pipes, harmonic flute and a drum ! (i realised we hadn't got any links to the ' English Warbow Azincourt ' facebook page on youtube, so i thought i'd try and knock something together !)
Would be nice to get some good filming equipment and do something properly ! :-)
