even great bands fail in comparison. they have an ability to create TRULY ORIGINAL MUSIC with an TRULY ORIGINAL SOUND thats unmatched by any band now and any band back in the day.

yes. Mars Volta are so talented and one of the only bands today that aren't over rated (Forever the sickest kids, Jonas Bros. , Linkin Park) haha The Mars Volta make them look so fake if they played side by side

that song is awesome! i think in some cases, mars volta make songs sound more complicated than they appear thourgh effects and even through vocals. they're on a whole other level of music making... and im very jealous.
