And yes! my third Millennium Tribute video! and I am so happy with it! As usual I use long clips which fit the lyrics. I tried my best not to alter the original coloring but i couldn´t resist. I have to tell you: I LOVE IT. So simple, slow in a way, intense. Raw... Tell you the truth I lack the funny-vidder-gene.
This time is about Agent Emma Hollis BUT seen from her Father´s POV. During the last 2 episodes of Season 3 of Millennium, Emma finds out that her dad has Alzheimer´s disease and the Millennium Group wants to have her on their team since Frank is definately out of it. Even though Frank tells her not to take the deal; even after she saw what they could do and knows what they have done to Frank, she agrees and takes it. My idea for this video comes from the fact that in the very end Mr. Hollis tells her that she shouldn´t have done what they asked... but If I was in the same situation what would I have done?
The song is from the AMAZING SUPERB group Poets of the Fall called "Illusions & Dreams" and it is used as if her dad is singing it.
"It's whatever makes you see. Makes you believe. And forget about the premonition you need to conceive. The images they sell are Illusion and Dream. In other words DISHONESTY"
"Every minute of Every day we chose" ~ A.D Walter Skinner - The X Files, "SR 819" (S6E9). This line is perhaps the perfectest one to describe what Emma went through -- the moment in which we make that decision and betray a friend. Once that step is taken there is no turning back.
TROY DUDE! - this one is for you. I will never be able to thank you for all that you have done. Hope you like it.
I hope you like it! Comment away plz!
BTW: I OWN NOTHING. All clips belong to 20th Century Fox and 1013 Productions.
Thanks for posting. I really enjoyed watching Frank and Emma, but knew that the moment these two 'paired up', it would be the 'death knell' for them. 'Interracial couples' don't fair well on t.v. and sadly this was just more proof of it. I still miss the show after all this time.
