Be My Friend (The Facebook Song) is from a new song cycle called Edges. Written by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. This is sung by the Toronto cast of Edges, Jordan Bell, Eric Craig, Gabi Epstein and Sara Frab, at Etobicoke School of the Arts as a lunch-time treat in the musical theatre studio. Enjoy!

I really like this song, but I am not crazy about this rendition of it. The vocals are good, but the performers are just standing there. I saw this done at a theatre competition twice last week, and the blocking was much better.

@ShadowedShinobi This isn't the blocking for this number. They just came to my school to sing for us. In the actual show they used chairs and laptops and stuff. It was very well-done.

@OMGshNicholas No. The Toronto cast came to my school at lunch and gave us a little preview to get us to go see the legit show. :) It was really well staged in the show.

I'm crying now cause the Canticle Singers had their latest production and they sang this song beautifully and I was in paradise for about two minutes and now I'm probably never gonna hear them sing that song again :( I'm really heartbroken. And life just goes on like nothing happened. Yea sure, other ppl can sing the same song but it just isn't the same:(
