PBS is a left wing democrat mouthpiece, the difference is that in Russia there is de facto totalitarianism in politics. RT as well as the rest of Russian media (which are being primarily sponsored by the Russian Government ) speak for the ruling party - the United Russia, you will never see them criticizing Putin-like politicians.

PBS is as far as i am concerned the only government supported tvbroadcast station, their lobbyists push on (D) to stand for them in Congress
