  • hearing people are not bothered by people walking between them because they do not need the visual stimuli as deaf people require,, i usually just hold up my hand and go thru,, but in reality most hearing ppl move out of the way if they realize there is not enuff room, If I need to ask something, I will write a lil note.

  • I dont understand that, but I really do think that you have a heart.. because you really do ask people and teach them manners,, I really do appreciate. Thankyou

  • i am hearing and i do agree, it is not a problem, if you show SOME sign that you are not oblivious to the people around you its usually appreciated. Like you say you hold up a hand, to me thats perfectly acceptable and more than some hearing people even do.

  • As a hearing person, I think what you already do if fine. It's clear. It's a simple phrase and obvious what your doing.

  • I tend to use sign language " Excuse Me " to hearing people as no matter what. If they want to know what I say. I will sign language to them until they give you paper and write to ask you what did you said.

  • both shoulders up and still thats how i use it for "excuse me" when interrupt with hearing ppl. thats good question you ask.
