Roy Romer did everything he could to tear this wonderful part of history down. He left his job as Superintendent, long before his 578 million dollar Taj Mahal school was resurected. If he wanted to tear down something historic, he didn't have to leave home. Why not do away with the Amtrak station, in his hometwown. It opened in 1907, and still stands today, or until Romer takes a job as Superintendent in Garden City, Kansas. The schools are getting full.

Demolished. They took it to the ground. Anyone who sez otherwise is lying on behalf of the School District, who is now pushing their "restored" fakery as authentic..
