Banjo maybe kryptonite to pop music. But I've always felt that pop music was Kryptonite to art, so I guess it all comes full circle. And if banjo IS kryptonite to pop music, then here's hoping that Lady Gaga takes up the instrument.

It's good but banjo is Kryptonite in the pop music biz world. Dueling Banjos was a rare exception.

Ah when will that be?!
My story, it was the Secret South tour. There was a signing beforehand, and I got all 4 sigs on one poster. DEE was shaking so much I thought he'd have a cardiac. Then he blew off all that energy during the show. Afterward he mingled around with everyone with this sweet, unassuming demeanor, almost a different guy. I could go on and on.
--He signed my poster, Gee Haw David Eugene. :D

Probably, you are talking about Woven Hands, since 16 Horsepower don't exist anymore. And, by the way, they had touring in Europe more often, than in US. I personally seen them live in 2003 in Oslo, Norway. That was amazing!
