Made complete sense right up until he mentioned God's love...
If you substitute that part for knowing your own mind, knowing right from wrong because you believe it yourself and don't have to have it reinforced by a dusty book, or be 'god fearing' why should we fear a god who is meant to be so gracious and warm? I would rather do good things because I know them to be right rather than be forced into doing them for fear of condemnation. Thanks.
