You are a god among men. I also bench with a wide grip and try to explain to people that with practice you learn to generate more power from your back and lats when going this wide but no one believes me

@filthyj24 I believe you man! I also use a wide grip (pointing fingers on the rings) and I lift more weight this way!

Great lifting!!!You do have a body builders set up form on the bench that even makes it more impressive!!I think with a power lifters set up/form and getting use to it you'd move even higher and greater weight!!I'm going through some shoulder soreness(bad) from heavy benching(competing in meets) so take care of them this soreness pain sucks!!If isolating the pec's for body building is the goal those are perfect!! I added a lot of weight to my 1 rep max when I changed to a power lifting set up!!

@Jptrappin32 Might be a lighter bar, some gyms have some that are 5 pounds less like my retarded gym.
its 32" grip width finger on the ring as I always do. Gymman62 is just jealous cus I could bench more then him when i was in HS. i dont mind constructive critisism at all and negative comments are ok as long as they dont cross a line. but like the work Jackass and moron is a little over the top. A post like looks like an illigle grip or i dont liek the way ur benching is what he should of writen.

i could do 135 for 20 after 4 years of training and started at age 10. 310 for 20 i could do at age 30 or so. I can do alot more then that now.
