please bear with me. I just made this video to test the capabilities of the Sony DCR DVD106 camcorder. In zoom mode It is possible to find stars and other objects not visible to the naked eye. However brightness decreases dramatically as soon as you zoom out to less than 1:1. A nice toy for beginners I'd say ;-)

    hola! :-)

you can easily find out which stars you see in the sky with the software ''Stellarium''. You only need to type Stellarium in Google and then download the program for free. The Orion belt is very interesting because you don't need much equipment (a small telescope will be sufficient) to see the colorful nebulas which are located in there.
