You can look up the MCD LSD & see pics of the insides. It's actually in grease. All MCD's that I know of use a grease instead of an oil in their diffs.
@marek0086 - You can add LSD's, but the Comp model comes with Open F & R & Locked Center. The V4's are out now anyway, which are even a level above these. Look into them.
@bryan12887 - Well to answer your question, They are Not that much more than a Baja. As a matter of fact the new V4 Racerunners are 1299 $ Where a 5t sells for 1299 $. MCD has the Very best quality 4x4 1/5 scale in the world today & that to is what your paying for. 4wd is a HUGE difference.

how come those are so darn expensive. Iam a baja owner and i thought baja's were expensive but these are x2 as much .. whats the big difference 4wd?

They do get very hot. Your settings sound good. The only way to know for sure is to add a temp monitor & see for sure what the temp. is getting to.

Back when a Nomadio radio was used, with telemetry. Around 250 was tops. Keeping the engine tuned correctly is key to keeping temps. in check.
