Wonderful early version! Still sound close to the sanitized single version, and even closer to Smiley Lewis's original version.

@MultiRushfan First learn how to spell. Second get your ears cleaned out. If you don't believe Elvis can sing, something is very wrong with you. I am not even that big of a Elvis fan, but my ears do work. About your spelling. It"s who's, not whos, Also it's beat, not bet. And playing, not playin.

its funny how the lyrics had to be "cleaned up" "shake rattle and roll" has that too...the line about seeing the sun shine through a gals dress is not in the studio version but he sang it live.

@margondine I agree with you ,but its him ,but hes loaded out of his mind...I love this song too,but check out a different upload...Ill see if i can find one...

@margondine; FYI, RCA didn't release a ' 68 version of this other than the one that Elvis sang on the December 1968 Comeback TV show. The original studio version was recorded & released in 1957 by RCA Victor and there were different out takes of this song. AND YES, This is Elvis singing the original version, He re-wrote it and changed the title so the Radio stations would play it. Elvis always recoded many takes of his songs then picking his favorite to be released.

This song s not only released. It's even in Karaoke:

@georgescowgirl i agree dude, only if "one night of sin" was changed to "one night with you" that would have made it a little better. but you can't argue over the two different versions of the lyrics, they're both awesome.

@MultiRushfan dude, that's elvis.
