Ah HA! Thank you! So I'm not the only one who thought Brosnan's Bond looked too futuristic and star trek like. I know, a belt that turns into a grappling hook, and invisible car, a ring that shatters shatter-proof glass, missiles built into cars,

They really brought that gadgetry down to perspective in skyfall when Q gave bond only a radio transmitter and a handprint encoded pistol.

Oh and I suppose using your car to electrocute yourself when you go into cardiac arrest was highly realistic was it? Bond films are at their heart ridiculous. If you want a serious, realistic spy film you're looking at the wrong series.

Skyfall was crap compared to Casino Royale, don't even compare them lol. One is a highly realistic spy film while the second is a return to the over the top Bonds of the past. Surviving a gunshot, 300 foot drop, fall off a waterfall, owning your own deserted island, preplanning a ludicris revenge plot perfectly years in advance, surviving -0 freezing water to fight a bad guy, and using a flashlight in the dark doesn't hold a candle to Casino Royale's intro, parkour chase, or the card game.
