This is possibly the most simple slingshot, just a stick with some rubber attached to the top.

I noticed that when I shoot powerful slingshots, my hand will automatically flip down and be completely out of the way of the ball when it passed the fork. So why is a fork necessary at all?

I attached the pouch with a small loop made from paracord, works very good.

The weapon also has a ball magazine, with the most simple lid made from a bit of rubber, what else. The whole thing is about as big as a small flashlight and can be carried concealed.

  • hey joerg do you ever pick up all the steel balls and all the other stuf you shoot with it must cost a lot of money to get new balls all the time if you dont re use them?:D

  • @asger123456789 I have a catchbox, in fact made from a metal tool case. It is filled with old T-shirts. I retrieve 99% of my steel and lead balls.

  • filipinos make things like these except they use steel DARTS instead of balls. theyre called pana slingshots. look them up on google and find the "primitiveweapons" website. theyre under the slingshots heading.

by the way nice slingshots Joerg.

  • @TheFrancisgloria I know what a pana is, and I have done some work with darts (flechettes) as well - just watch my related videos.

  • i'm thinking about making something like that, come to think of it, just saw one of the comments below, i have a thick hickory axe handle, or whats left after making a knife handdle, and some innertube from a bicycle, i could probably make it work.

  • my grandpa an i use to make slingshots like this out of a clothes pin an tire inner tube they work pretty good made many of them as a kid

  • good idea, is it just as powerful as your other slingshots? because it looks like something I might be interested in.

  • @MegaRavensblood he said in the video, a stick.

  • @istahota1 looks to be a dowel or stick carved into the handle.

  • looks pretty dangerous, someone less coordinated as you could end up with a ricochet ball to the face, ouch

  • hey joerg what did you use for the handle

  • great design! what did you use for the hollow handle? Be willing to share your design plans for this one? I really like its simplicity. Form and function.
