Watch cable news, read the mainstream newspapers, and what do you find? Nonsense and trivia masquerading as serious issues, tawdry murder mysteries, the latest missteps of Jesse Jackson and other people we don't really care that much about, and celebrity gossip. Oh yes, I almost forgot, just to top it all off, they will ignore the issues that Americans care about in politics, and tell us all that what we really care about are nonsense issues like "race relations" or "gay marriage" or "teenage pregnancy". Do Americans give a crap about Iraq or our collapsing economy? Don't know, but boy do they care about how much better people will get along if only we could elect a black (well, partially black) president.

  • Ron Paul was America's last hope but people fell asleep....what will be the future of America?

  • The future of america will be decided not by the government but by the people. We will rally around our constitution and the ideals this country was founded on. If we do not, then the future is very dark. My guess is that if we don't rally to our constitution, to peace and to justice, then we will end up being slaves and this country will become much like mexico, a land where a few dozen families rule and live in absolute opulence, while the people starve.

  • In afganistan. Before the Invasion. The country was run by warlords who tyrannically opressed the population with armies, There was no real government and actually drug trade was more rife than it was then. In control of the warlords, was the taliban. Who took an extremist view on the Qu'arn and abused human rights. Obviously NATO invaded and taliban were forced out of power.

  • Well, the united states invaded, let's be clear about this. Nato is run by us. I can't defend the taliban, but I don't think that we have improved the situation in afghanistan or even that we care about the ordinary people there. The drug trade has indeed flourished since we've been there, but people's lives have not gotten better. We invaded for our own welfare, for our own reasons, and we occupy and control the country for our own benefit.

  • ok, im not going to judge YOU for that statement but that comment was very frightening. I hope few think like you. Again, please do some more research into the Iraq, Afghan war. I will do you wonders.

  • Afghanistan is at the hart of terrorist groups, the only reason i see is to destroy their sense of security and wipe them out one group at a time.

the more we damage their numbers the less power they'll have in the long run..I don't see troops coming home any time soon.. we may have a 100 year war on our hands.

  • Ron Paul is our revolution leader!

    Revoluion will win.

  • Which the war is still raging on, with british in helmand, america in pakistani mountains and other places, germany, france, canada and others peacekeeping the other provinces.

  • The taliban only controled most of afgan, the rest. warlords. NATO used this, to divide and conquor (e.g. like the romans in greece). Then with a proper government, started to free the other states, which has worked. all for the pakistan border mountains and the helmand province.

  • I agree with you a 100%, my only suggestion is that you start mentioning Chuck Baldwin who is from the Constitution Party, a very close friend of RP and has the same values as RP. RP has stated that he will NOT run or accept the Presidency even if drafted.

We need to support and support Chuck Baldwin who is a staunch supporter!!!

We need to set up Constitution Party meetups for Chuck Baldwin all over the country just like we did for RP.

Chuck was the 1st to support RP and stumped for him.
