I am working on a new Custom, and I figured I'd give you a little inside glance at what I am doing to make him.
In this, I just took a Zippo Pine Bar body, with the image in mind of him being a nice black hunter with a big flashy trot. I may or may not do some resculpting on his mane and give him braids. But I'm not sure yet. If I do, I will need to get some more apoxie to work with.
In this, it just shows me repositioning his legs using the very very high-tec heating system; a hair dryer. Cuz I'm just so boss like that XD
Well, in the next part, it will be prepping and priming time!
Let me know what you guys think about him!
And lets take a vote: Do you think I should give him braids, or just keep him banded like he is, but paint on the elastics in his bands? If so, what color? I'm thinking either red, or navy blue to contrast with his soon to be black coat...
Awesome! How long did it actually take you?

@breyerhorselover5562 maybe 20 min. Including a break to let the first leg set.

if you make him have a banded mane then he could be more versatile in performance(if you show). because alot of the time in real QH shows the horses that shwo in both english and western usually just have banded manes in english becuz it was easier to keep them in. so you could show him in alot of different classes in performance. but if you just want him to be a hunter then give him braids

@9yrhunterjumper haha, I do AQHA stuff, but I do western and english, but I show Cati in braids, because we show him as 'an english horse that can do western' insetad of a 'western horse that can do english' lol. So maybe I will just keep him banded

Braids because if you want him to be a hunter then it only makes sense to have braids.
