With smart phones you have to have a data plan (at least with at&t). The lowest being $15 on top of your other plan.I have an unlimited data plan for about $30 extra.

do u have to pay 50$ a month on contract OR can u just pay for voice and not data?

It's not a bad phone but it's not quite a proper BlackBerry business phone as it does not have that all important qwerty keyboard. The efficiency of all the Blackberry keyboard shortcuts is one of the reasons they are such good enterprise phones.
At the same time it cannot compete with the iPhone when it comes to multimedia. Maybe the new BlackBerry slide, touch phone will find better place in the market.

Jesus, "using this and that before someone was born", teen web gangster or a immature old guy? Who talks like that? No iPhone doesn't have multitasking I am a software developer at Microsoft Europe for Windows Mobile division, we have taken apart dozens of iPhones. The Darwin core does not support multitasking, backgrounder it's not even close. Most iPhone users don't actually know what multitasking is, only the idea. Lack of multitasking is key for the iPhone OS being fast in the first place.
