How to get WiFi for your computer from ANY Android Phone! (not settings method)

Ahh, another boring 6 hour car ride. Now, you can play online games using your android phone! What this basically tells you is how to use your phones internet and turn it into a hotspot for laptops. (Wifi/3g/4g internet works for your phone).

$25.00 virgin mobile plan works fine. Any plan should work. Just watch the video.

Written guide:
Short and simple, this is what you do.
1.Open Android Market
2.Search for wifi hotspot
3. get HotSpot widget (may have to scroll down)
4. Once it installs, put the widget on your home screen.
5. Tap the icon of the widget.
6. You now have a wifi hotspot!

My home router: 12mbps
Phone Hotspot: 2mbps
It's actually not that bad for free internet. Way better than the MiFi ($50.00 a month and 1.4mbps).

@eddel8 It shouldn't matter what you named it. Just be sure to have Data enabled, and a working plan.

3g 6 bars: Very fast, 2mbps

3g 5 bars: Fast , 1.4 mbps

3g 4 bars: Great, 1 mbps

3g 3 bars: Average, .8mbps

3g 2 bars: Slightly slow, .6mbps

3g 1 bar: Slow, .4mbps

1x or lower is very slow.
