@finmetalwarrior True, you are right in that it is not a part of the rest of scandinavia and certainly not nordic and yes I do mean Fennoscandia, I was mainly referring to the fact that sims1796 had said that it was a nordic country.

@Stratplayer05 umm - Finland is technically not a part of scandinavia - norway, sweden and iceland are - they speak scandinac languages - finnish is uralic language - but if you take Fennoscandia - then finland is a part - only the northern parts of finland are counted as scandinavia - rest goes to the side of fennoscandia :P

@sims1796 I am afraid you have it the wrong way around. Finland is a Scandinavian country (on the Scandinavian peninsula) and not a Nordic country (Norway, Sweden, and others that speak Nordic languages).

"Scandinavian metal bands"? Turisas is not from Scandinavia. They're from FINLAND. Finland is not a Scandinavian country; it is a Nordic country.
