If a company wants to make profits they wouldn't turn in to 100% green energy, if a company wanted to make profits, they wouldn't allow scientists to claim climate change, you can make more money hiking prices from gas/coal/nuclear/oil than you can from taxes which don't affect everyone depending on energy they use.

Atmospheric CO2 levels have dropped by 3000 percent through the past 1.6 million years. Average global temperatures have declined by 10F degrees during the same period. Double those figures when looking beyond 200 million years ago. The issue is not which industry makes MORE money, but how much ADDITIONAL profit and power the carbon credit industry will vacuum up from the common people. Taxes, fees and charges don't save the earth; They just line the pockets of wealthy bureaucrats and international business men who will take advantage of good-intending people who don't know any better. Don't allow them to do that to you.
