  • the original kenpo 5.0

  • dear sonnych69,

Mr.German was blending kenpo with jujutsu and other grappling arts in this country before it was "cool" to do so! I know that Mr. German had met with Jeff Speakman (thx to Ralph Anderson)but never had the chance to work out together.Imagine if Mr. German had an opportunity to work with the AKKS folks! BEGOOD,KENPOJOE

  • OMG I was at the Chino location too back when I was in middle school.

  • I've met him a few times as well. He awarded my Sensei with his 10th degree. While he was here he did demonstrate a heavy hand on me (I asked). I didn't know he was going to do it, fortunately my Sensei was behind me to catch me. It felt like a sledge hammer hitting me in the chest, except I felt it in my back and it didn't hurt. It was very cool.

  • Hey...me too....

    Chino location with Chris Irdale....

Did Master German ever demonstrate a heavy hand?? WOW!!!

    FRAKH

  • I trained in Mr german's system for a number of years at the covina location, I met him a couple of times, he used to come in almost every tuesday and talk to the instructor mark crawford he was a very nice man and I feel very honored that I had the opportunity to learn from his great system TAI karate.

  • seems alot of "kempo" people were. the guys in hawaii were way ahead of their time! i began studying kempo jujutsu and we were doing alot of that kind of stuff before it was cool to do it too. kempo was one of the original eclectic arts.

  • He had some chinna training tapes? what were the names of them?

  • Oh wow, I have his Chi-Na training tapes. He was great!!! RIP.

  • he was ur dad u mean? great martial artist ... ur lucky

  • I have a very good memory od mr German , I had a chance to meet him and train with him in one of Mr Brian Adams classes at the san diego convention center.

  • He is the first person that got me interested in jujutsu. I was unaware that he had passed away.

    RIP
