Okay, when we think of Christmas we usually think of toys, presents, gimme, gimme, gimme! But the song in this video is about the true meaning of Christmas. There isn't any words to it. It's a piano solo. But I thought it was pretty good.
My dad helped me A LOT so I'd like to thank him. Also, my brother helped me pick one of the pictures so I'd like to thank him too.
Comic: Calvin and Hobbes (Bill Waterson)
Song: O Holy Night
I don't know who O Holy Night is by. But whoever made it, that song is in this video. I got the pictures off of google.com and my Calvin and Hobbes books. I know some of the pictures have absolutely NOTHING to do with Christmas or winter. They're just Calvin and Hobbes' best memories.

That's it. Enjoy! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

  • I read someone's idea one time that Calvin grew up and married Susie, and Calvin's son found Hobbes in a box in the attic and immediately took him out sledding.

  • it makes me really sad.....this comic represented my child hood in a way, this was the only thing i ever read lol..... everyone wanted these adventures, now im 20......and i never can.....good bye calvin, good bye hobbes, ill miss u :(

  • (sniff) amazing

  • i CRIED.

  • CALVIN

  • I'm not sure either. Usually, the more you get older, the less imagination you get. It just seems to grow out of you. But for Calvin, his imagination is forever. I hope he and Hobbes are best freinds forever.

  • i wonder

  • maybe cuase calvin dosent want kids he lives with hobbes and calvin makes hobbes tuna and salmon every day and work is like calvins school in his younger years and maybe a motercycle is thier wagon thats what i think

  • For those of you wondering, this rendition of "O Holy Night" is performed by David Lanz.

As for Calvin & Hobbes, it is the most magical thing ever brought to life on paper and it's as much a part of my growing up as the adventures it has inspired me to go on. I wouldn't want a single child to miss out on two of the greatest characters ever created. Beautiful video.
