The 22 inch long Hobby Southampton RC Tugboat is radio controlled and can actually push or pull other similarly sized boats in a pool, pond or canal.

Control range of up to 400 feet away!

With the Hobby Southampton Tugboat you can control it with a range of up to 400 feet (120 meters).

  • can any one help? know nothing about rc boats but am trying to run maybe 25 boats at one time. need to be slower boats, fun for kids. was thinking tug, pirate and sail. need run times of 30 minutes. i think my problum is going to be freqency & battery. want to stay in the $150 range. any ideas? thank you for any help.

  • Thanks, BreathDoctor, for your advice. I have heard of a couple of people talking about the need to try to install a larger prop on the Aquacraft tug. There just isn't the room though without taking a knife to the lower framepiece the rudder seats down into ! A slightly bigger--just barely, 4 blade prop can be substituted, I saw.

    This boat, IF it really is still well connected to Graupner's design; that alone recommends it.
