If your interested, I can give you an idea of the difficulties. I've been renting a condo on the gulf of Mexico, there is literally no protection (as Florida is at sea level) if water levels rise and a hurricane generally wipes out everything in the area so insurance is very high. The other place is my parents place which they have on the bay connecting to the ocean, little more stable but they had to build a sea wall to protect from flooding. Jakes grandmas place is built similar to my parents.
