Giant Pacific Octopus out in the open on Diplock Reef

Giant Pacific Octopus out in the open. He decides to fondle and caress Asta, one of the divers in our group. Note that his front tentacle is stubby. I guess he lost the end of it in some previous encounter. After he wraps his tentacles around Asta, she gets a bit nervous and shakes him off. A few minutes later, we saw the six gill shark (see separate video). I guess you could say it was a pretty good dive! Filmed on Diplock Reef, Barkley Sound, British Columbia
