Julian Assange: Why the world needs WikiLeaks

Founder Julian Assange, who's reportedly being sought for questioning by US authorities, talks to TED's Chris Anderson about how the site operates, what it has accomplished -- and what drives him. The interview includes graphic footage of a recent US airstrike in Baghdad.

@deusaquilusyou Actually Wikileaks have released huge amount of leaks on N Korea, Russia and especially China. One of the leak also accused China spied on country governments by sending women sectaries or workers to spy on other men that worked in Western gov.

If you are in Canada, you would know that there is an investigation going on with a MP fell in love with a Chinese immigrant, which has access to the gov document.

Arg! Trolls are annoying. Anyhow, pity we get wonderful leaks of atrocities of western governments but get nothing on the atrocities of Hizballah, Hamas, Al Queda, IRA, etc... Also no wiki leaks on atrocities of North Korea, China, Iran, etc... I smell a dangerous disparity.
