Gaspard Ulliel would NEVER do such a disgusting part. Edward Cullen is a slag. Yes, Gaspard would be good to play a blood sucking, killing, sex crazy, deviant of a vampire, but no way would he be a shitty, sparkling, lovey-dovey, want to be vampire. He is TOO good of an actor to do such a thing.
