Ableton Live 5.2. Audio clip waveform display bug(?)

Demonstrating a problem in live 5.2's; in certain conditions the arrange view gets very unresponsive, making it difficult to work.

First just a midi clip is visible, and the zooming works smoothly as expected.

When the audio track is expanded and the waveforms are in view the zooming becomes very jerky and unresponsive.

Wondering if it's a bug rather than just a performance problem since this issue wasn't present in version 4.1.4 (hoping it's fixed for Live 6!).
